Divorce impacts kids in different ways and one way is to write about it. This very unique coloring book titled Ten Tips On How To Survive Your Parent’s Divorce is a great tool for kids who are having difficulty on expressing their feelings or thinking they are the only ones going through this traumatic experience.
The two authors Becca and Connor both went through divorce in their own world and wanted to help other kids cope through this. In our house we call the two of them the “Wonder Twins” because they could actually be sister and brother but they both have a great heart when it comes to wanting to able to serve others. Their book is written by kids for kids again going through divorce and need help communicating their feelings. Today Becca and Connor have been able to take the sadness of divorce and are very active not using the break up of their parents marriages as an excuse not to be model citizens. Honestly if the kids did not get along this world would not have this coloring book.
About The Authors
Hey there, I am Becca one of the co-authors of this super cool coloring book. I am 13 years old and currently I am in 7th grade. I am a gymnast and my favorite events at gymnastics are beam, floor and vault. My favorite sports include soccer, hockey and of course gymnastics. My goal for gymnastics is to make it all the way to the Olympics. My parents were divorced when I was at the age of 7. It was hard but I knew it had to be done. Well, I hope you enjoy our amazing coloring book.
Hey you, I am Connor one of the authors of this amazing book. I hope you enjoy the book! I am going into the fifth grade, and if you guessed it I’m ten. The sports I like are hockey, basketball, golf and running. I’m an excellent hockey player. I was in the top three hockey goalies in my hockey league, I finished in third. My goal for hockey is to be a pro. When my parents got divorced I didn’t know what was happing because I was only five at that point. Same like my dad when his parents were divorced at age of five. One of the memories I have is I was sitting on a chair when my dad and mom were cleaning the house and yelling. I hope you like the book.
