In the US about 40% of families with children are a “step” family or as we like to say “bonus” families. Ann and Tommy have joined forces with their passion for serving these “blended” families. The best answer to what is a blended family is essentially the TV show “The Brady Bunch.” However Ann and Tommy not only have between them only three kids they also do not have “Alice.”
Ann has spoken at conferences from the local level to the state on topics dealing with building healthy marriages and co-parenting to ways of implementing ways of creating jobs. Ann is a member of the Women to Women mentoring group at her church because she understands the importance of being in service to others. She is also an active member of her local Kiwanis club and has the honor of sitting on the board of a local non-profit agency called RISE. Most importantly, Ann is the mother of two beautiful girls, Betsy and Becca as well as the bonus mom to a wonderful son, Connor.
Tommy is first and foremost a dad to his son Connor and his bonus daughters Betsy and Becca. Secondly he is the author of the book 25 Tips for Divorced Dads: How to create special memories and grow your bonds with your children. Tommy has been a keynote speaker for: Colorado Fatherhood Convention, Every Thing For Dads. Tommy has spoken at Ignite 17 Fort Collins and will be doing TEDx FrontRange this June.
Ann and Tommy are creating a media empire with a successful podcast besides the speaking and workshops they offer. Even Becca and Connor have added to the business by being authors themselves with their book Ten Tips On How To Survive Your Parent’s Divorce. The kids can also be heard doing the intro to the podcast. Ann and Tommy look forward to serving you and any organizations that can use their information.

“Tommy has written a powerful book, 25 Tips for Divorced Dads, that while directed at dads is just as useful for moms and all caring parents. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to build strong and meaningful relationships with their children.”

“February 2012: Tommy wrote an article, “Dating After Divorce“, for Our Mom Spot’s audience. Working with Tommy was a pleasure because he was very flexible. For example, we booked Tommy on extremely short notice after another writer was unable to provide a quality article on the topic and Tommy worked to meet all of the required deadlines, with just a few days to do it. Tommy’s article was high quality – it was the right mix of instructive prose, information, and relevant personal examples.”
